New Year 2012 Resolutions

New Year 2012 Resolutions:-
1) Change my attitude to life...... we live once after all.
2) Accept myself for who I am........
3) Organisation ...... to learn what that means
4) To have some fun
5) To add to my list of things to do before I die.......
6) Go to the gym more often
7) To not worry so much what people think of me
8) No drinking alcohol in the week
9) Routine, routine, routine......
10) To make new friends
11) To stop being so naive
12) To look after myself more and put myself first sometimes
13) To save £1 for every 1lb weight loss. £10 for every half stone and £50 for every stone. I will be a super model and I will do it the right way!!!!
14) To learn the meaning of the word perserverance, determination and patience.
15) To write my novel.
16) To further my experiences of life
17) To study further
18) To make time.........
19) To go clubbing
20) To go to a psychic reading
21) Another piercing
22) Another tattoo
23) To spend less time at work and more time with the people who mean the most

Ok so I think 23 New Years Resolution's are enough... for now anyway!!!! Feel free to add to them if you think I need it...............

Feeling positive about the future

This year has been so positive. I have made real changes and am learning to accept myself.

I am me after all....

I have a really good feeling that 2012 is going to be a good one and I am looking forward to embracing it x

Well hello there everyone and sorry for the long absense... Life has been pretty manic and non stop but I am determined to get some order back in my life and get to grips with what life throws at us.


Unfortunately I have still not beaten my weight problem but I will get there... I am certain of that.... Life throws problems and challenges at us but these things are sent to try us and eventually to make us stronger. I am learning everyday and I am fortunate to have some amazing and supportive people behind me.


Now I just need to realise I am human.... I make mistakes, I experience pain and suffering like everyone else, I am me... faults and all.... take me or leave me, I should not be changing for anyone!


So tonight I rejoined Weight Watchers. For the money I have spent on dieting, I could be a millionaire by now but I need to keep my head in the right place and stop the yo-yo dieting once and for all.

I am hoping to make some major changes in my life over the next few months. I am going to document it, be true to myself and embrace the changes I need to make in my life to make me a stronger person.


I have come a long way. OCD no longer controls me. I control it (something I never thought I would ever say a few years ago).


Now I need to control the fact that I eat and drink to cope with problems and I need to change that.


My youngest son most likely has Aspergers
My mum has MS
I am getting older and need to accept the fact I will probably never have a daughter
I have a weight problem
I am a perfectionist
I hate upsetting people
I find it difficult to move on

So wish me luck fellow bloggers..... and it's nice to be back :-D

It's A New Dawn. It's A New Day. It's A New Life. For Me. And I'm Feeling Good (8)

Feeling good right now. My mojo is back. I lost 4.5 lbs at WW this week, I have a weekend off and am looking forward to a reunion with the in laws tomorrow.... It's Party Time - good music, good company, lots of alcohol and a fun, fun, fun.


Life is on track finally. Now the boys are growing up I am coming into my own and this is the time to be me. I have had massive responsibility for such a long time (15 years since our eldest was born) but now the boys don't need me as much. My career is blossoming nicely. I am a Line Manager for 32 carer's and I have been with London Care for almost a year now. Life is good. Sometimes I get a little broody but it does not last long. The thought of a little baby again is lovely but I really do not have the time or energy for another child. They take up so much time and are a massive commitment for so long. I love my lay in on a Sunday morning, the being able to go to the shops on my own and the chance of having me time........ awwwwww bliss.

Next onto my 'pink mobile' I am serious lovin' my car
